- Ghost Pepper (33,000 Scoville units with sour, salty, fruity and lightly winged tasting notes)
- Scorpion Pepper (57,000 Scoville units with sour, salty, very fruity and very spicy tasting notes)
The Scoville Scale and Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) were named after scientist Wilbur Scoville in 1912 for measuring the spiciness and heat of a chili pepper.
