Love Island’s Ekin-Su and Davide reveal they bagged their own ITV reality show – with a twist
LOVE Island champions Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti have bagged their own show, they revealed today.
The Sun revealed last month that TV bosses are desperate to sign the pair up for their own series.
The pair broke the news on the heels of their £1million fashion deal.
Ekin-Su and Davide talked about the new project for ITV2, which will see them travel the world.
He explained: “I can say that. We are going on a trip to Italy and Turkey, so a week in Italy, a week in Turkey.
“We’re going to be on ITV2 so it will be like our own programme.”
Love Island’s Ekin-Su added, “It’ll all be real, fights, I’ll cook for him, he’ll cook for me. It’ll be two cultures.”
Davide explained: “We’re going to meet the family, it’s going to be nice.”
The couple, both 27, announced the news appearing on the revived Big Breakfast this morning.
Host AJ Odudu told the couple, “You’re going on a trip and we’ll go with you.”
Earlier in the series, Davide seemed to blurt out that the couple were moving in together, although Ekin tried to shut him up.
Former Big Breakfast host Denise Van Outen, who also appeared on the show, leaned in and suggested, “A magazine deal?”
A source told The Sun last month: “Ekin-Su and Davide blew fans away during their time on Love Island.
“They’re hot and explosive and funny, so naturally the conversation turned to ideas for giving them their own reality documentary about what they did next.”
