Bulletproof re-loaded

Wow it’s been a long time since I posted anything on here! I have been very very busy this past year and the site has taken a back seat hence the lack of activity. But I have just started the very early stages of re-designing the site, and hopefully in 2-3 months I will have a new design built, tested, tested some more and finally finished.

I’ll still be using WordPress to power the site as it’s a platform I feel totally comfortable using and love developing with. I will also be making use of some cool, functional (and not forgetting accessible) jQuery and some nice CSS3 stuff I have been working on lately. Also expect some HTML5 goodness as well!

I am however not going to mash a bunch of new cool and crazy technological stuff together and hold it together with digital sticky tape and hope for the best – oh no! Everything I code into the design will have a reason for being there and not because it’s cool and hip.

As for the tutorials and freebies, they will each have their own sections and won’t live inside the blog part of the site anymore (don’t worry they are not going anywhere!). I’m hoping to do a lot more of that kind of stuff in the new year – grab the RSS feed to get a heads up if you like these sort of things.

So to end my first blog post in what seems like a very long time, I would just like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Got anything to say? Go ahead and leave a comment!
