Creative Work Environments

How do your surroundings affect you in your workplace, office or even bedroom? How often do we go for a walk, stand upside down on our head or just plain sit there and stare at the screen when we are completely stuck for ideas?
A bright and creatively designed work environment can help us in more ways than one. Everything from colours to architectural lines and curves can inspire us to get over a mental block of creativity.
Coolhunter.net has some great photographic images of some exciting workplaces from around the world which have to be seen to be believed. Everything from ‘Banksy’ type art to padded cells! (Yes a padded cell!!) has been used to make creative people’s lives even more creative.
Probably the greatest coffee shop on earth
One thing that did catch my eye was this little Ille coffee sjop in Italy. Basically it is a rusty old shipping container with an ille sign stuck onto it. But with a flick of a switch, it transforms into a beautiful and modern pristine white coffee shop. It even has iMacs for people to use. Now how cool is that?
